Tension Control Bolts

A Tension Control Bolts(also known as TC Bolts) consists of 1 bolt, 1 nut and 1 washer, pre-assembled.  TC Bolt have an extension that is grooved (referred to as the spline) that is designed to ensure accurate, repeatable, and visible indication of proper tension levels with each installation. Tension Control Bolts  have a button head as opposed to the hex head of regular structural bolts. These bolts require an electric shear wrench to install.

Tension Control Bolts (TC Bolts) revolutionize the world of structural fasteners with their ingenious design and enhanced functionality. Composed of a bolt, nut, and washer, these bolts come pre-assembled, saving valuable installation time. What sets them apart is their unique feature—an extension with grooves, known as the spline. This spline plays a crucial role in ensuring precise, consistent, and visible indication of tension levels during installation.

Gone are the days of relying on guesswork or complex measurement techniques to determine the adequacy of bolt tension. With TC Bolts, engineers and construction professionals can rest assured that every installation will meet the required tension standards. The spline on the extension offers an easily identifiable reference point, making it effortless to visually verify if the tension level is within the desired range.

These bolts distinguish themselves further through their button head design. Unlike traditional structural bolts with hex heads, they feature a sleek button head that not only adds an aesthetic touch but also simplifies installation. To secure these bolts firmly in place, an electric shear wrench is necessary, ensuring the optimum torque is applied consistently.

The advantages of Tension Control Bolts extend beyond their ease of installation and visible tension indication. These bolts provide exceptional resistance to loosening, ensuring the structural integrity of various applications. Whether it’s bridges, buildings, or industrial structures, these bolts offer reliable and durable fastening solutions that can withstand the test of time.

Moreover, the use of TC Bolts reduces the risk of over-tightening, a common concern with traditional bolts. The visible indication of tension levels allows for precise control, preventing potential damage to the materials being fastened. This not only enhances safety but also minimizes costly repairs or replacements in the long run.

In the realm of structural engineering, precision and reliability are paramount. They embrace these principles, empowering professionals with a cutting-edge fastening solution that streamlines installation and ensures consistent tension levels. Embrace the future of fasteners with TC Bolts and experience the convenience, accuracy, and peace of mind they bring to your projects.
