DeWalt Mechanical Anchors

Mechanical anchors are anchors that mechanically anchor themselves in the base material using friction and some type of movement within them to achieve holding values. These anchors are made up of more than one part, allowing the parts to move independently and create an expansion of the anchor. Once placed in the hole in the base material, it is expanded. This exerts pressure against the wall of the hole, creating friction and holding power. DeWalt Mechanical anchors are designed to go into the hole in the base material, but will not come out.
